The past few weeks have been insanely busy (and productive). About a month ago, I started my summer job as a Camp Director for a tech camp on Columbia University’s campus. I’m leading an instructor staff of 12 as we take on 96 campers a week (ages 7-17) teaching courses from Adventures in Game Design to Programming in C++.

The tough part about directing a camp is, the days are long and there’s no time during the week for much else (#AllCampEverything). Time commitment aside, I’m learning A LOT - stuff that I can continue to apply in my consulting and teaching work. So, in the end, everybody wins. And in spite of my workload, I still have a list of things I’m looking forward to before summer ends. Yup, I made a real life list…

• a day at the beach  (one regular, one nude)
• Warrior Dash
• a trip to the Bronx Zoo
• a visit to MoMA PS1 for their Warm Up series
• the birth of Lucky (my best friend and his wife are expecting)
• an outdoor movie on a park lawn
• skydiving, Part II
• a flying trapeze class at TSNY
• zip-lining at Summer Streets
• staying out all night and waking up the next day whenever I feel like it
• FELA!
• watching the sunrise and set from the Brooklyn Bridge
• riding my bike through Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens
• Korean BBQ
• spa day
